The reading layer's 923 speaker-labelled paragraph blocks and the archive's 1042 immutable dialogue records are different granularities, not a discrepancy: ten scenes print a single long speech across several paragraphs that the archive indexes as multiple records. Neither layer is derived from the other.

These six scenes carry no speaker-labelled dialogue but are not empty: they hold stage directions, chant, newspaper and performance material. The reading layer is the full scene text, not the dialogue records.

`verified` and `verified-reconciled` are the archive's own recorded states for its scan-adjudicated fidelity audit of the 104 canonical pages. They are archive states, not a claim of independent human re-verification here.
